Sophia Little, born and raised in NYC, is a graphic designer and art director. With a nearly decade-long career, she has worked for Aperture Magazine, Symphony Space, BeautyconLA, the City College of New York, and ESSENCE Ventures, where she currently holds the position of Senior Designer. She has also managed to build a successful career as a freelancer. Over the last eight years, she has completed a wide range of work for clients, including Biden-Harris 2020, Saysh, the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority, the Sugar Hill Children’s Museum of New York City, and Pride Fx.

She holds both a BFA in Communication Design and Art Photography and an MS in Photojournalism from Syracuse University. Her experience with art communication and journalism has led her to develop a personal style that combines a fine art aesthetic with journalistic values and traditional design messaging. Sophia Little’s artistic journey reflects her values and commitment to empowering marginalized communities. She sees art as a means of communication, believes that it has the power to effect change, and hopes to inspire that change in her work.
