Code of Conduct

We are dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all conference attendees, vendors, and collaborators. Therefore, we expect all participants to adhere to the following code of conduct:

  • We are committed to fostering an environment that is free from discrimination, harassment, and bullying based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, or disability.

  • We expect all participants to treat each other with respect and consideration, and to communicate in a professional and courteous manner.

  • We do not tolerate any form of physical, verbal, or emotional abuse, including but not limited to, insults, threats, or unwelcome advances.

  • We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, including but not limited to, denying equal opportunities based on any of the above-mentioned factors.

  • We expect all participants to respect the privacy of others and to obtain consent before sharing any personal information or images.

  • We encourage participants to report any violations of this code of conduct to the organizers, who will take appropriate action to address the situation.

  • We reserve the right to take any action deemed necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of our participants, including but not limited to, removing individuals from the conference without refund.

By participating in this conference as a vendor or collaborator, you agree to abide by this code of conduct. We believe that by working together, we can create a more inclusive and equitable industry for all black designers.
